I am an architectural and urban designer based in Los Angeles. My work lies at the intersection of critical urban theory and speculative urban forms where the two try to expand the status quo of architecture practice and urban design discipline. My interest revolves primarily around urban and architectural theory, the concept of gamification and its application in architectural imagination. My research seeks to explore the effects of finance capitalism in urban life, and how the socio-spatial attributes of cities are in direct relation to major monetary systems practiced today and thereby speculating on new modes of urbanism in actively redefining their underlying agenda. I am eager to explore this through new modes of representations and design agencies such as customized game interfaces as design mediums, VR and AR platforms in order to open up new potentials in design proposals.
